Tour description
Along this tour we follow the signposts with the fish symbol.
The varied round trip around the fourth sector of the Palic Lake offers not only nature lovers but also little explorers many outdoor activities that make the trip to a very special
experience. Especially on the eastern
promenade of the Palic Lake, there are many opportunities for young and old to get active.
We start the Active
route at the Tourist Information Center of Palic (however, an individual starting point can be choosen). For a
while we follow the shoreline of the lake. Behind the local sailing club we turn
away from the lake to walk on the Novosadski put. As soon as the next opportunity arises, we
turn right towards the lake. On
the agricultural path, we pass a pasture with Hungarian steppe cattle, which are part of the renaturation project. After a few hundred meters we leave the country
lane and find ourselves at a canal, which connects the lakes Palic and Ludas. On the south side of the fourth sector of the Palic Lake, we can now again run directly on the shoreline.
The tree-lined path leads straight to a bird watching house. Here not only connoisseurs but also laymen get their money's worth. After a short rest in this hut, we cross the nearby bridge to the west side of
Palic Lake.
The still flat path winds along the shore of the lake for a while until we reach the magnificent promenade of the Park Palic at the end of the 13.5 kilometer Active round. Many restaurants invite you to breathe or linger. Who has not had enough, can use up the last power reserves in a tour with the
pedal boat.
Tip
From the eastern shore of Lake Palic
you have in the evening a fantastic view of the sunset.
Equipment
Wearing sturdy shoes is recommended. Binoculars can be useful for
birdwatching in good weather. Since the rest stops are unduly distributed along the route, it is advisable to pack enough provisions and drinks.
Special note
On this route, it is possible to find "geocaches". For further information about
this interactive treasure hunt please click here.
