Tour description

The bike tour around Lake Ludas starts at the Visitor Center in Hajdukovo. Here you can get interesting information about the area even before the tour. The tour marking of this route is the cow symbol.
We follow the Sarajevska street to the village Nossa, which is characterized by the cultivation of wine. Before we arrive in the village, we cross a small stream, the "Körös". From here you can let your eyes wander over the most western tip of Lake Ludas. We will get a good impression of rural Nossa, because we follow the main road straight ahead through the village. In the end of the road we turn right and then turn left at the next opportunity. We hike on the agricultural roads of Hajdukovo, which lead us closer to Lake Ludas again. The road goes straight to the main road Halomski sor. We follow this road until a footbridge becomes visible on the lake shore. From here we can observe swans and other birds and have a picknik. At the crossroads our bike ride continues on the Ludaski sor. The paved road leads us through a hamlet, in which a local church can be found. At the next intersection, we can turn right to get to another footbridge and rest again. If we follow the road further to the left we stay on the cow route. About 500 m before the end of the road, we take a path to the right, which leads us directly along the lake. For a distance of about 200 m we use the cycle path on the main avenue of the Colverts, until we reach a path to the right, again directly on the water, to the visitor center.

Visit the Hungarian gray cattle near the Visitor Center Ludas.

Equipment

For hikers, sturdy shoes are recommended.

You may also want to bring a binocular for the observation of birds on the lake.
